Fountains of Wayne’s Adam Schlesinger Is ‘Very Sick’ & On a Ventilator Battling Coronavirus

Adam Schlesinger, the Fountains of Wayne frontman and songwriter for the show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, is hospitalized and on a ventilator while battling COVID-19.

“He’s very sick and is heavily sedated, as are all people on ventilators, but no one has used the word ‘coma’ to me,” the 52-year-old entertainer’s lawyer told Variety about the reports that he may be in a coma.

Adam has reportedly been hospitalized for Coronavirus for over a week in upstate New York and is receiving excellent medical care.

Doctors are reportedly reluctant to make predictions about his condition because there are so many unknowns with this virus.

Adam has been nominated for Oscars, Tonys, Grammys and Emmys over the years and has won the latter two.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this time and we’re hoping Adam makes a quick recovery.
