GMB’s Ranvir Singh drops huge Corrie spoiler as she exposes Corey Brent’s exit

Ranvir Singh let out a major Corrie spoiler on air when she revealed that Corey Brent is set to leave the ITV soap.

The TV presenter was at the helm of the ITV news programme on Monday (October 25) as she replaced regular host Susanna Reid.

She was joined by co-host Richard Madeley as they chatted to Corrie star Maximus Evans, who plays Corrie killer Corey Brent on the hit soap.

The actor appeared on the show to discuss the aftermath of Super Soap Week, which gave viewers a week of action packed episodes.

Viewers were gripped last week as a catastrophic rainstorm brought disaster to the cobbles, and with sinkholes appearing at every turn, Max's character also found himself in danger.

Corey came face-to-face with Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) in nail-biting scenes after he was responsible for the murder of her son Seb.

Intent on justice, Abi hunted down Corey and as she pointed a gun at him, the floor gave way beneath them and they were plunged into the Victorian sewer.

For a brief moment, the roles were reversed when Corey threatened Abi with her own gun.

But after being knocked down by falling rubble, the power was back in her hands and she forced a confession and an apology out of the terrified teen.

Before she could cause serious damage, however, Roy Cropper came to the rescue and convinced Abi not to hurt Corey.

The Weatherfield legend then helped the pair out of the sinkhole.

Whether Corey gets caught out for his crimes has remained to be seen but his exit appears to have been confirmed.

Ranvir said to Max on Monday's GMB: "It's been a rollercoaster hasn't it these last couple of years for you, so what are you doing now?

"Because you character leaves…" she added as Max said "yes" in agreement.

"Do we know how?" Ranvir added.

Max coyly replied: "No, we don't know how yet but I have filmed an ending."

Ranvir then pressed him on if he knows what happens and that they're not filming alternative endings, at which Max laughed and refused to give anything away.

This will be a first for viewers as Corey's exit hasn't previously been confirmed.

What we do know is that Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas reunite to prove that Corey is guilty.

Asha spots a homeless man named Stu wearing a Weatherfield County backpack.

And despite him saying he found it in the pub, Asha is certain that it’s Corey’s from the night of the attack on Seb and Nina.

After Asha chases him and he gets away, Asha and Nina resolve to track him down.

And they're aware that this could be their only chance to prove Corey guilty.

Nina bites the bullet and tells Stu they need his help and explains how Corey’s backpack could prove he killed Seb.

But Stu’s adamant he doesn’t want to get involved and hurries away, leaving the girls in despair.
