I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans think they have exposed the "real" Matt Hancock following an incredibly awkward moment in camp with Chris Moyles.

Since arriving in the jungle, celebrities have shown a particular interest in the behind the scenes information on being a politician which has led to plenty of conversations centred around the former Health Secretary.

And Thursday evening's episode (November 24) was no different as the Tory MP opened up about what it's like being in government during a cabinet reshuffle.

Speaking to comedian Seann Walsh and the radio DJ, he revealed the Prime Minister would take MPs who were being fired into a room "away from the cameras" at the House of Commons before admitting to his campmates: "This is a very sensitive conversation."

Touching upon his former role as health minister, the Conservative party member explained there are "advisers," adding: "The job of the minister is not to be the subject matter expert. Of course, you need to get to grips with the subject matter, but that is only half the job."

He added: "There’s a load of transferable skills – handling parliament, communicating with the public, taking decisions effectively – and then you have the subject matter experts who advise you on it all.

"But you do and that’s what you have. Nobody is a specialist in the whole health service, literally nobody. Even the Chief Executive of the Health Service"

After the lengthy explanation, Seann asked: ""Do you have any questions for Chris?"

The entire camp was met with vast silence as the three campmates continued looking at each other.

Eventually the echoing silence was broken by Chris who awkwardly chimed: "I don't think he does."

Spotting the snub, which was dubbed "the most awkward moment of the series" by the official I'm A Celeb Twitter page, fans took to social media to point out that Matt has now shown who he really is.

One penned: "…and there's the real Matt Hancock, right there. "Do you have any questions for Chris?" asked Seann. Suddenly the act was exposed as he is so self-obsessed…he had nothing #ImACeleb"

"That silence about showing an interest in someone else explains a lot," added another.

A third questioned: "Don’t wanna know anything about being a radio presenter then??"

While Someone else fumed: "Of course matt doesn’t have any questions for chris cos he’s only in there for himself, he doesn’t give a s*** n he’s not interested in anyone else"
