Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were back on Monday’s Good Morning Britain to present the latest news headlines. During the programme, they spoke with former football legend Paul Gascoigne, who paid a moving tribute to his pal Jimmy Greaves. It comes after it was confirmed the former footballer had died on Sunday at the age of 81. However, throughout the interview, viewers were left distracted by Paul’s appearance.

Towards the end of the interview, Susanna also commented on how well Paul looked.

‘You look well, you really look well,” the host praised.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the football star’s transformation, Christopher commented: “Good to see him looking well again.”

Ellie praised: “Brilliant to see Gazza looking well.”

“I wouldn’t recognise him,” Andi tweeted as Jack tweeted: “How well does our Gazza look on TV?”

Nicky penned: “Gazza on #GMB has made my day. Keep on keeping on Gazza mate.”

While Rachel wrote: “B****y hell! Don’t even recognise the geezer anymore.” (sic)

“So nice to see Gazza looking healthy on #GMB,” Yogi added.
