Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) made a bold move in EastEnders tonight (September 25), as she reported Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) to the police, suggesting that he had something to do with Chantelle Atkins’ (Jessica Plummer) death.
Kheerat is convinced that Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) is responsible for Chantelle’s tragic death, and therefore he informed Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) about his theories earlier this week.
Mitch’s interest was piqued, which is no surprise given how much he made his dislike for Gray known in the past, but Karen wasn’t too pleased to learn of Kheerat’s claims.
She berated Mitch for listening to such things, and suggested that maybe Kheerat had something to do with her daughter’s death.
In tonight’s episode, Gray received a visit for from the police, and he was informed that someone had suggested Kheerat was a suspect in Chantelle’s demise.

Gray defended Kheerat to the police, but later dropped by Kheerat’s office, and told him what Karen had done, before suggesting that he leave things alone.
Kheerat was unable to do so, and outright accused Gray of the murder.
A heated showdown ensued in the Vic, as Gray and Kheerat came to blows, with Karen defending her son-in-law, and pleading with Mitch to do the same.
